Thank you to everyone who visited the Zulucow stand at The Open meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse and made it such an amazing first big show for us
We met so many fun new cowhide crazy friends (see Zulucow’s facebook page for pix of a few!) The cowhide rugs, cushions, cowhide bags and belts created quite a stir.
I didn’t get to watch much racing unfortunately, but at least my favourite west country trainers: Philip Hobbs (2 winners and some seconds including ‘Colour Squadron’ whom I tipped in my blog so you may have got some each/way money there!) and David Pipe (4 timer on Sunday) had a cracking meeting.
Since Cheltenham, I’ve received orders for our beautifully patterned cowhide rugs, cushions, and bags. Stocking fillers like our funky cowhide purses, make up bags and belts are catching the eye too. A couple of shops are keen to stock Zulucow; so it’s all been worth it after all and now I have a bit more time to watch the boys football training in the mud and prepare for the onslaught of Nativity plays.
Look forward to seeing you all soon and hearing from you – especially if anyone else has started up a small ‘kitchen table’ business with rampaging kids in tow? Any tips/advice welcome!
